space

SEGRO has leased 30,000 sq m in the SEGRO Logistics Park Oberhausen to ITG GmbH Internationale Spedition & Logistik. It is a medium-sized and globally operating logistics and fulfilment service provider with headquarters in Schwaig at Munich Airport, which specialises in fashion and lifestyle products. Space is part of the second construction phase, which is now fully let.

An expansion of the area by 51,500 sq m is expected in 2021. The building permit for the area has already been granted. The logistics park will then have a total rental area of around 120,000 sq m.

“The letting underlines the dynamic demand for logistics space in Oberhausen and confirms once again that we are currently expanding our logistics park. Because Oberhausen is becoming more and more important as a logistics hub,” said Philipp Oevermann, Interim Director Logistics at SEGRO.

The SEGRO Logistics Park Oberhausen is located near the Oberhausen motorway junction (A2 / A3). The park can also be connected to the port of Duisburg, one of Europe’s largest inland port. In addition, the SEGRO Logistics Park Oberhausen will benefit from the bypass road currently being built with the project name “Logportstraße”, which runs directly past the area from Weinsteinstraße.
