Bolloré Logistics Le Havre is going greener

Bolloré Logistics

For the past two years, Bolloré Logistics Le Havre has had trucks equipped with biofuel. Its fleet of trucks has grown in recent weeks with the arrival of six new tractors. Today, a third of the Le Havre fleet runs on biofuel to ensure the pre and post carriage of its customers’ goods.

This project is in line with the commitments made through the Powering Sustainable Logistics CSR program to reduce scope 3 CO2 emissions by 30% by 2030 (base 2019), linked to the performance of transport services. The action on the environment is direct, with biofuel reducing CO2 emissions by 60% and particulate emissions by 80%.

This transition also meets the requirements of the ZFE law (low emission zone). To date, eleven cities in France follow this directive. By running on biofuel, Bolloré Logistics achieves Crit’Air 1 in terms of pollution. By 2025, the 43 municipalities with more than 150,000 inhabitants will apply the ZFE law.

With this new fleet of clean trucks, Bolloré Logistics meets the requirements of its customers to implement solutions that contribute to the reduction of their carbon footprint and actively participates in the decarbonization objectives of the supply chain.
