Yusen Logistics has announced that its Indonesian subsidiary has become the first logistics business in the country to acquire GDP (Good Distribution Practice) certification, “the industry standard of quality for the storage and transport of medical and pharmaceutical products.”
Yusen Indonesia’s pharma services include real-time GPS tracked road transport by temperature controlled, company-owned vehicles. In addition, for air freight, “through using systematic cargo management techniques, Yusen Indonesia’s Customs clearance services are faster and more efficient; achieving greater service accuracy.”
Yusen asserts that its Indonesian business has handled pharmaceutical and medical devices in the country for over 10 years, facilitating movements all over the world through the company’s European Pharma Network.
