Yusen Logistics Benelux has opened a new logistics centre in Moerdijk, The Netherlands. This site offers storage capacity of 30,000 sq m accessible via 30 loading docks, along with 900 sq m of office facilities. Yusen Logistics Benelux will relocate its headquarters from Ridderkerk to the new facility.

The Moerdijk logistics site is located in the Industrial Park ‘Port of Moerdijk’, West-Brabant, the fourth and furthest inland-located seaport in The Netherlands. The location offers strong connections with the deep-sea ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp, the airports of Schiphol (Amsterdam) and Brussels-Zaventem (Brussels), as well as extensive forwarding options to European inland destinations.

Bruno Jacques, Managing Director of Yusen Logistics Benelux & Nordics commented, “We recognise the tremendous growth potential in the Benelux. Moerdijk is situated in the centre of two of the most important European sea ports, Rotterdam and Antwerp, and the airports of Amsterdam and Brussels, enabling us to provide both our local and international customers with the opportunity to also use our Customs and Freight forwarding services next to our extensive warehousing and road transport services’’.
