To further reinforce its regional development strategy, Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation (Yang Ming) has set up a new subsidiary with NAXCO Group in France named Yang Ming (France) S.A.S., which officially began operating on January 1, 2021. The subsidiary aims at assisting Yang Ming to develop local market and integrate regional resource.
With the strategic cooperation with THE Alliance, Yang Ming has deployed several weekly service routes on Asia-Europe, Asia- Mediterranean, Intra Europe and Trans-Atlantic trades, with regular services to and from Port of Le Havre and Port of Fos-sur-Mer. The newly formed subsidiary will help Yang Ming to expand local market presence and raise the company’s market share in Europe and the Mediterranean region. Yang Ming (France) aims to establish a stronger local presence in the French market.
