XPO Logistics has won a new contract with automotive manufacturer Ford Motor Company to deliver aftermarket parts to UK dealers.
Under the new contract, XPO will take responsibility of outbound distribution, the flow of line-haul parts, and overall asset management. XPO will also manage around 200 collections per day from the Ford’s parts centre in Daventry, Northamptonshire as well as product returns from dealerships.
XPO will provide Ford’s customers service teams with real time tracking technology to enable them to track individual packages between Daventry and their destination.
