Unipart Logistics has extended its partnership with Kubota UK to provide aftermarket warehouse operations for another five years.

Based out of Unipart’s Cowley Distribution Centre in Oxfordshire, the contract covers inbound and outbound aftermarket logistics, storage, returns, scrapping, kitting and promotional activity for Kubota’s agriculture, ground care, construction and engine divisions in the UK and Ireland, and Nordic and the Baltic states for engine distributors.

Unipart services 120 dealers and 187 delivery points nationwide for Kubota UK, and over the last few months, the Unipart team has introduced digital technology to further improve performance.

A key element of the work is supporting Kubota’s agricultural customers during the peak harvest period from April to October. This year Unipart faced the additional challenge of supporting this crucial sector throughout the Covid pandemic, which was overcome through Unipart’s implementation of Covid secure safety measures across all its sites and the adoption of digital technology.

Claire Walters, Unipart Logistics Chief Commercial Officer, said, “We are delighted to extend our partnership with Kubota UK for another five years. The partnership is a great example of how Unipart works with a customer to continuously improve performance and deliver outstanding service to our joint customers. I’m really proud of how our team stepped up in response to the pandemic to maintain service and safely meet customer needs in challenging circumstances.”
