SEUR has announced the launch of Shop2Shop, a store-to-store delivery service between individuals aimed at offering a simple, sustainable, and cheap shipping experience. The service will rely on SEUR and DPDgroup’s Pickup network consists of more than 50,000 pickup points throughout Europe, including 3,000 just in Spain.
The service can be booked through the seur.com website, adapted to be mobile phone friendly. A QR code is generated so that the sender can use it to leave the package at the Pickup store of choice. Users can choose both the place where to leave the package and the time of delivery. Shop2Shop guarantees the traceability and tracking of the shipment until its delivery, which can take between 24 and 48 hours in Spain, at a price starting from around €5.40 + VAT.
According to SEUR, the move comes in response to new consumer profiles emerging in the last few years, who value the convenience of being able to ship from one point to another easily and quickly but are more aware of the environmental impact of shipments too. The company added that the new service allows savings of around 63% of CO2 emissions per package, by reducing collections and deliveries to each customer’s home.
SEUR added that this service is already available for national shipments and to some European countries such as Portugal, France and Germany, and will be extended in the coming months to other international destinations.
