Schneider has announced that Erin Van Zeeland has been promoted to chief commercial officer, in addition to her roles as the group senior vice president and general manager of logistics.
She is succeeding Jim Filter, who will be taking over as executive vice president and group president of transportation and logistics in April 2022.
As a chief commercial officer, Erin will lead the Schneider sales and marketing strategy and capability enablement.
Over her career, Van Zeeland has held significant roles across the organisation, starting at Schneider in 1993 as a service team leader. Since then, she has delivered technological advancements during her time at Schneider, including FreightPower, a digital marketplace that provides shippers with capacity solutions and other value-added services. She currently serves on the board of directors for the United Way – Green Bay and as a board member of the Transportation Intermediaries Association.
