Rhenus Warehousing Solutions, the specialised warehousing solutions expert within the Rhenus Group, has opened a new warehouse in Alcalá de Henares, Madrid. The new facility, which has 4,000sqm of warehouse space, positions the company in the central area with the aim of offering better coverage and higher quality service to its customers.
Located in the Corredor del Henares, one of the main logistics hubs in Spain, the new centre allows the strategic positioning in a market with a high demand for warehousing services. From this facility, the company aims to offer a wide range of storage and value-added solutions. It also will aim to serve companies in the industrial, aeronautics, high-tech and electronics, retail and consumer sectors. The new logistics centre adds to the company’s network of warehouses in Seville, Cadiz and Valencia. This structure is completed with more than 155 centres in 21 countries around the world and a storage area of 3.5m sqm.
