Rhenus opens logistics centre in Voronezh, Russia

The Rhenus Group has opened a new logistics facility in Voronezh, Russia. The facility is located in the South of Central Russia and is connected to the launch of the “Rhenus Silk Way” project. The business site will develop dedicated transport and logistics solutions for customers in the agricultural sector.

The logistics centre has a warehouse measuring 20,000 sq m and 2,500 sq m of office space. The warehouse also has a cool section for storing goods that perish quickly.

“We believe there’s huge potential in the Voronezh District for us to establish ourselves as a logistics partner for trade and industry. We particularly want to provide support for our customers’ developments in the agricultural sector in future. After all, Voronezh is ideally located on the New Silk Road corridor between Europe and Asia,” said Olaf Metzger, Managing Director of OOO Rhenus Freight Logistics.
