Rhenus expands presence in the Netherlands

Logistics service provider, Rhenus Warehousing Solutions, is continuing to expand its footprint in the Netherlands by opening a third location in Eindhoven, in aims to accommodate the growing market needs and customer demands.

The new Rhenus facility measures 35,000 sqm including a mezzanine of 3,200 sqm. This will expand the company’s warehousing capacity in just Eindhoven to nearly 150,000 sqm. The additional premises are an answer to the ever-growing demand from customers in the medical device, high-tech and machinery and industrial sectors.

The Eindhoven locations have grown, together with its customers, to become a pivotal logistics hub for medical device and high-tech products in the global logistics provider’s network.

The building obtained a BREEAM Outstanding certificate with a preliminary score of 90.29%, will be fully electric and has been fitted with 7,924 solar panels.
