Pickup extends its partnership with Monoprix in Paris

GeoPost acquires Aramex

Pickup, a subsidiary of Le Groupe La Poste and DPDgroup, has announced the extension of its partnership with Monoprix in Paris. 40 Monoprix shops were announced to start offering Pickup lockers for parcel collection.

Since 2017, Monoprix has provided its urban customers, in some twenty shops mainly located in the Paris region, out of home delivery solutions from Pickup, a pickup network in France, stated DPDgroup. By 2022, all 40 of the company’s Parisian shops will offer this local service thanks to the widespread deployment of Pickup lockers, according to the company.

It was stated that within the 23 Monoprix shops offering the Pickup service, customers can collect their e-commerce parcels (Colissimo, Chronopost, DPD France) ordered from one of the 10,000 e-commerce sites offering the Pickup delivery solution.

As part of this partnership extension, all Monoprix shops in Paris will feature a locker by the beginning of 2022. The fully automated lockers are said to enable users to save time by collecting Chronopost and Colissimo parcels independently when they come into the shop.

Although this partnership is currently focused on Paris, Pickup and Monoprix could, in the medium term, roll out connected lockers in more Monoprix shops in France, stated DPDgroup.

“At Pickup, we are proud of this partnership started four years ago with Monoprix and the Casino group. This latest collaboration in the capital further strengthens our ties and our common ambition to offer urban customers the best possible local service to simplify their daily lives.”, said Olivier Titeux, Director of Development at Pickup.
