NACEX has opened a new cross-coking platform located in Coslada, Madrid. With close proximity to Madrid, the Adolfo Suárez Madrid Barajas airport and with direct accesses to the A-2, la M-23, M-40 and M-45 highways, the new platform has access to national distribution.

Included in the plot 23,000 sq m plot is a 12,140 sq m warehouse for sorting and distribution, as well as a 1,500 sq m office building for administrative tasks. The platform has 114 docks, 104 for vans and 10 for trucks, which can all load and unload merchandise and documentation simultaneously.

Technology in the site includes a Videocording sorting system to detect unread or misread labels; 153 HD cameras, 13 of which can record 360°; and a sorting system that is able to process up to 32,000 parcels an hour. There is also a chamber and a pre-chamber at controlled temperatures, in line with its commitments with the pharma industry.

“At NACEX we are fully committed to excellence and client satisfaction and top level premises, with the latest technology innovations, like those in Coslada, allow us to consolidate our position as one of most technologically advanced parcel and express courier firms in Spain,” said Manuel Orihuela, NACEX’s Deputy General Manager.
