L’Occitane moves into Bolloré’s new cosmetic hub

Bolloré Transport & Logistics and supply chain services company Czarnikow are collaborating to support Bolloré’s sustainable development in East Africa through the VIVE Sustainable Supply Programme.

L’Occitane has moved into Bolloré’s new cosmetics hub, located in Kunshan, 50 km from Shanghai’s city centre. With a capacity over 13,000 sq m, it serves as a distribution centre for Bolloré Logistics’ cosmetics customers in China, providing a warehousing facility and omnichannel distribution solution.

The one-stop-solution offered at the Cosmetics Hub includes importing, storage, labelling, kitting, and distribution services throughout China. A variety of storage solutions in the hub will meet the storage demands of the full range of products for L’Occitane en Provence.

“We are extremely pleased to be a key Logistics partner to L’Occitane and to support their growth in this dynamic region. We have developed along the years in Asia-Pacific a unique Supply Chain ecosystem for the Beauty Industry. We will continue to invest heavily in this vertical and aim at bringing value through constant innovation,” said Mr. Cyril Dumon, CEO of Bolloré Logistics Asia-Pacific.

The Kunshan Cosmetics Hub marks the sixth Hub for Bolloré Logistics in Shanghai. Its proximity to major transportation centres, coupled with scalability makes it a competitive site for the years to come.
