CEVA Logistics announces that is closely monitoring the events unfolding right now in the Red Sea. “The reported attacks on commercial shipping vessels are leading many of our ocean shipping partners to take preventative measures to ensure the safety of their crews, vessels and customer shipments. In addition, some carriers are adding related surcharges. We do expect some delays due to re-routed vessels, and we are optimizing route decisions accordingly.
We are maintaining close contact with ocean carriers and our customers during this evolving situation. As more information becomes available, we will communicate proactively with customers who have impacted shipments. In addition, we are developing alternative solutions, including combinations of air, sea, rail and ground transport to ensure we can offer our customers the agility and resilience needed to continue operating amid disruptions in the global supply chain”.
