Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has opened a new branch in Toruń, Poland. Over the past ten years, Poland has become an increasingly important strategic market for the global full-service provider. In aims to enable sustainable growth, Hellmann has consistently invested in expanding its infrastructure, opening new branches and expanding capacity at existing locations. As a result, Hellmann has more than doubled the number of Polish branches and more than trebled the volume since 2012. Today, the company offers the entire product range in Poland, from sea and air freight to contract logistics and customs solutions to national and international groupage and cargo transport. In particular, a close-knit liner network with daily round-trips has been established between the German and Polish country organisations.
“Together with our customers, we want to continue to grow in the future and intensify our general cargo network between Germany and Poland in particular. In doing so, we are responding to the increased demand in the area of international road transport and setting the course for further successful strategic development of our activities in Poland and Europe,” says Jens Tarnowski, Regional CEO West Europe, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics.
