Hellmann Worldwide Logistics and the manufacturer of closure solutions Silgan Closures EMEA have extended their ten-year collaboration. With the third extension of the contract, Hellmann will continue to coordinate the Europe-wide distribution and transport management for the closure manufacturer.
Hellmann took over the supply chain management at Silgan Closures EMEA in 2009 as part of a complex outsourcing project, and since then has been organising the entire logistics as a 4PL provider from the Control Tower in Hanover. Hence, Hellmann controls and optimises the entire intermodal transport chain within Europe as a neutral intermediary between Silgan Closures EMEA and various logistics service providers.
