Gazeley announces completion of new 37,000 sq m warehouse near Toledo


Gazeley has announced the completion of G-Park Illescas, its new 37,000 sq m warehouse in Illescas, Toledo, near Madrid. The new site is strategically located in the Plataforma Central Iberum, a key logistics hub in the region according to Gazeley, at the junction of the A42 and the CM-43 roads. The area is in the south of Madrid and is home to some well-known brands, such as Amazon, H&M, Airbus, Michelin and Toyota.

The company said that the new warehouse has been designed primarily for logistics, distribution, and e-commerce companies, and will be available for occupation immediately. It added that with a clear height of 11.7 metres, storage space within the warehouse has been optimised. Furthermore, the site allows for more than 250 car and 20 truck parking spaces.

The warehouse will feature photovoltaic solar panels and clerestory windows. It will also feature electric charging points for vehicles and bicycle parking, as well as safe access for pedestrians.
