Evri has announced it has appointed a Chief Product Officer as part of its continuing investment in product development, customer experience, and digital innovation.

Joe Tarragano will join the Evri executive committee. According to Evri, Tarragano has over 25 years of digital experience at organisations including eBay, Dun & Bradstreet and Thomson Reuters. He has provided consultancy to retailers such as Argos, Sports Direct and Debenhams on e-commerce best practices and is also the founder of two start-ups. Most recently, Joe led all the customer product activity at GSK, spanning 70 markets globally, as part of its digital transformation initiatives.

In his new role as Chief Product Officer, Joe will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s technology initiatives continue to support the needs of its different stakeholders and continue to rapidly innovate premium services that are both cost-effective and environmentally responsible.

Tarragano commented: “Evri has experienced tremendous growth and is hugely successful for its stakeholders, demonstrating real innovation. Its scale and its importance to the way we all now shop means it has a huge impact on consumers and this also comes with an important environmental responsibility. Being part of its continuing digital transformation is hugely exciting for me.”
