Europa Road, the dedicated European road freight division of independent logistics operator Europa Worldwide Group, has invested in its non-network solutions offer.
Europa Worldwide Group has four divisions – Europa Road, Europa Air & Sea, Europa Showfreight and Europa Warehouse. Europa Road offers European road freight services for both import and export customers across Europe.
Europa Road has created a new department at its Sheffield, UK branch focusing on business development and growth of import, export and cross-trade full and part loads in response to market demands.
This new non-network solution function will work alongside the existing team in Birmingham, UK who continue their focus on growth of dedicated express van work and management of full and part load key account business.
Europa Worldwide’s turnover reached £180m last financial year and it employs over 900 people. In 2019 Europa announced the construction of a new £60m 715,000 sq ft logistics facility in the Midlands, which will be completed in June 2020.
