Envirotainer opens a new service station in Delhi


Envirotainer has announced the opening of a new service station in Delhi, India to support growing cold chain pharmaceutical business in the region.

On May 16, 2016, the opening of Envirotainer station in Delhi expanded the company to a total of 57 stations across EMEA, APAC and Americas. Partners and customers are expected to have greater access to Envirotainer’s RAP t2 and RKN t2 containers in and out of the region.

Suat Toh, Head of Sales APAC, said of the announcement, “India is a world player in generic drugs manufacturers and API supplier for decades,” adding, “Envirotainer has been supporting Indian pharmaceutical needs by providing best-in-class cold chain solutions for pharma products that require a controlled environment since year 2000.”

According to the announcement, Envirotainer will be looking into upgrading the station further to include release/return of e-containers. Customers in Delhi and the region are expected to have access to e-containers through Envirotainer’s partners, who are due to be taking releases from Envirotainer’s stations located around the globe.

In the past year, Envirotainer has invested heavily in the region and recruited new sales to Japan, China, India and Singapore.
