Electrolux Logistics Italy has partnered with Geodis to manage the distribution of its products across Italy.
Geodis will receive and store products, prepare shipments, manage the customs bonded warehouse and check returns on behalf of Electrolux. Transport and delivery will be mainly performed in direct drop mode using a specialised network for smaller shipments. Furthermore, Geodis will provide ad hoc services, diversified by product segment, final deliveries, express services, taxi service, etc. The whole project will be supported by IT and tracking systems.
Electrolux is a company specialised in household and professional equipment. It sells over 60m products in more than 150 markets every year. In 2018, Electrolux realized almost €12bn.
