Correos and AliExpress renew partnership in Spain

Correos has renewed its partnership with AliExpress and Cainiao Network that will help Spanish small and medium enterprises (SMEs) boost exports around the world, especially in Europe and Latin America.

Correos will continue to develop specific logistics solutions to speed up the distribution of packages to AliExpress customers in Spain and will continue to be the main logistics operator of the marketplace in Spain.

The agreement aims to improve the shipping flows between China and Spain and to support the growing export traffic from Spain derived from AliExpress. The platform allows Spanish SMEs to sell online to consumers worldwide through its local channel AliExpress Plaza.

The collaboration also encompasses the design of integrated solutions for the management of parcel deliveries originating from China as well as the development of logistics operations to shorten delivery times. As a result, AliExpress users are expected to benefit from a better shopping experience.

The agreement has been signed by Juan Manuel Serrano, president of Correos, Wan Lin, president of Cainiao Network Technology, and William Wang, director of AliExpress Spain.
