Following the agreement announced on December 8, 2021, the CMA CGM Group has completed the acquisition of most of Ingram Micro’s Commerce & Lifecycle Services (CLS) business, including Shipwire and the CLS activities in North America, Europe, India and certain countries in Latin American. Activities in Asia-Pacific, Mexico and Costa Rica will close in the near term.

“The acquisition of Ingram Micro CLS is strategic for the CMA CGM Group. After completing its turnaround in 2021, our subsidiary CEVA Logistics will accelerate its development and join the world’s Top 4 in contract logistics.” stated Rodolphe Saadé, Chairman and CEO of the CMA CGM Group. “Its position will be significantly strengthened in the U.S. and European markets, enhancing its ability to seize the opportunities offered by the boom of e-commerce.”

CEVA states that 20.0% of its global revenue could come from e-commerce by 2025 and is thus developing a complete suite of e-commerce capabilities across all products and transportation modes.
