CEVA Logistics recently completed its LED lighting installation project across all its facilities in Greater China. The LED lighting provides better energy efficiency, longer lifespan, better quality and enhanced safety benefits, as well as securing substantial cost savings and helping CEVA meet its sustainability commitments.
One of the most significant advantages of LED lighting lies in its exceptional energy efficiency. By embracing LEDs, CEVA Greater China anticipates a staggering 66% potential reduction in energy consumption, when compared with traditional lighting sources (i.e. florescent tubes).
LED lighting fixtures also enjoy up to 3.5 years longer life, which reduces the frequency of replacements and, consequently, minimizes solid waste generation. In addition, LED lighting offers superior quality, providing bright, uniform lighting throughout CEVA’s offices and warehouses. With LEDs producing minimal heat and eliminating hazardous substances (like mercury), CEVA has created a safer working environment for its employees and contributed to a greener and more sustainable environment.
