Bolloré Logistics transports MRI machine to Mali

Bolloré Transport & Logistics and supply chain services company Czarnikow are collaborating to support Bolloré’s sustainable development in East Africa through the VIVE Sustainable Supply Programme.

Bolloré Logistics has reported that on January 11, 2022, the company set up an AN12 aircraft to transport an MRI machine for one of the largest clinics in Bamako. As it is a high-tech radiology device, an MRI machine requires special care for its transport.

The charter left Münster airport on January 11. After a technical stopover in Algeria the equipment arrived at Bamako International Airport on January 12. The unloading and the delivery to the customer were carried out on the same day.

Bollore stated that its operational teams were available 24/24 hours to ensure the follow-up and the realization of the cargo. Thanks to a traceability system, the customer was informed in real time of the progress of the operational plan.

Bolloré Logistics Europe and Bolloré Transport & Logistics Mali worked in collaboration to execute this operation. Bolloré Transport & Logistics Mali stated that is was proud to participate in this operation which reinforces the health system of Mali, which is currently facing many challenges.

According to Bolloré, its client expressed satisfaction regarding the delivery: “I can say that it is a very professional and satisfactory operation. I hope this cooperation will continue in the future.”
