Bolloré Logistics Singapore implements B2C e-commerce fulfilment solution

Bolloré Transport & Logistics and supply chain services company Czarnikow are collaborating to support Bolloré’s sustainable development in East Africa through the VIVE Sustainable Supply Programme.

Bolloré Logistics Singapore announced it has devised and implemented a new e-commerce fulfilment solution for the Singapore and Malaysian markets. The solution has been introduced for two perfume and cosmetic brands within the LVMH group. Both companies hope that the collaboration will offer a seamless online experience to consumers. The solution has been implemented in response to growing demand for digitalisation and was introduced in spring 2021.

The solution includes the installation of dedicated e-commerce warehousing, value-added services such as product engraving, and high-end packing. Bolloré Logistics’ stated that they are able to meet LVMH’s requirements due to their wide network of last-mile carriers which offer maximum visibility of order status throughout the delivery process.

LVMH hub manager Ingrid Caes commented: “In line with Bolloré Logistics’ mission to bring digital transformation to the logistics industry, this collaboration would allow both companies to delve into the needs of the fast-growing e-commerce sector. Together, we are witnessing the beginning of our ecommerce expansion”.

Both companies are currently discussing the potential launch of the same service in other countries and other brands of the Group.
