Bolloré Logistics Italy is increasingly committed to sustainable solutions. It has obtained the exclusive use of two biofuel trucks from its partner, the Alha Group, Italy’s leading company in the air cargo sector, providing ramp and warehouse handling services, as well as national and international road transport.
The new trucks will reduce carbon dioxide* emissions while maintaining the same load capacity, mileage and load safety as their Euro 6 diesel counterparts.
For Bolloré Logistics, this project is in line with its commitments under its corporate social responsibility programme, Powering Sustainable Logistics, to reduce CO2 emissions from transport services by -30% by 2030 (based on 2019 emissions). The initiative comes on top of the company’s innovative aviation solutions with Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).
