APL Logistics Americas LTD (APLL) has announced that its Rialto, CA distribution centre in Arizona, US, has received an AIB score of 990 from AIB International.
APLL’s Rialto distribution centre is a 758,000 sq ft food-grade facility serving the US West Coast for a single customer.
The AIB audit is a snapshot of the Food Safety culture in a facility. The audit is all-inclusive and encompasses a detailed assessment of facility operations: cleanliness, maintenance, condition of food storage area, physical security, and pest management. The key to earning a high score is a rigorous focus on maintaining food safety protocol every day.
