Construction begins on new distribution centre in CN’s Calgary Logistics Park

Canadian National (CN) and Kansas City Southern (KCS) has announced that they have entered into a definitive merger agreement.

Construction has begun on the construction of Whirlpool Canada’s new distribution centre in Canada National’s (CN) Calgary Logistics Park in Rocky View County, Alberta, Canada.

The 425,000 sq ft facility will serve as a distribution centre for Whirlpool Canada’s finished appliances coming to Aberta across North America. Calgary Logistics Park is located between Prince Rupert and Vancouver as well as major cities across Canada and mid-America.

Stephen Stewart, director of supply chain at Whirlpool Canada, said: “Our new regional distribution centre at CN’s Calgary Logistics Park provides us direct connection to CN’s rail network and transportation services, allowing us to deliver our major appliances for our retail partners more efficiently and reliably.”
