Yodel strengthens leadership team with three senior hires

Yodel has partnered with specialist sortation company Hexapole to install a new Small Parcel Sorter at its Shaw Sortation Centre in Oldham.

Yodel has restructured its management team, with three senior hires into two existing roles and a newly created one.

Adrian Harris has joined Yodel as Operations Director. Most recently he worked at Marks & Spencer as Director of Clothing and Home Logistics. Prior to this, he worked for Amazon as Director of Amazon Logistics (China) and for Tesco and Home Retail Group in e-commerce fulfilment, retail supply chain and logistics roles in the UK and China.

Meanwhile, Lucy Robertson will join Yodel as Director of Sort and Transport. She previously worked at Amazon as Head of UK External Fulfilment and was also General Manager for Argos.

In her new role, Robertson will report to Harris and together they will have ownership over design and delivery of sortation solutions for Yodel.

Having previously worked as Interim Director of Sort and Transport since September at Yodel, Mike Watkins has been moved to a newly created role as Director of Operational Planning. Prior to joining Yodel, Watkins held senior operational and strategic roles at Marks & Spencer and Asda. In this new role, he will be responsible for end-to-end operational planning.
