UPS Singapore appoints Michelle Ho as new Managing Director


UPS has announced a change to its Asia Pacific management team with the appointment of Michelle Ho as Managing Director of UPS Singapore. In this role, Ho is expected to assume responsibility for UPS’s express delivery and logistics operations in Singapore.

Jim O’Gara, President of UPS South Asia District, said of the announcement, “Asia’s growing middle-class will continue to drive trade growth, and Singapore plays an integral role with its prime location and world-class infrastructure,” adding, “Though businesses are anticipating an uncertain economic environment, we strive to help our customers remain competitive by leveraging our multi-hub strategy in Asia and our vertical logistics capabilities.”

Ho most recently served as Vice President of Finance, UPS Asia Pacific Region, where she worked towards the company’s shared services strategy, and efforts to optimize UPS’s network and identifying new growth opportunities.

Ho began her career with UPS in 1993 as a finance and accounting collection supervisor in Singapore. Over the years, she assumed various roles including UPS’s China District Controller, Director of Finance and Treasury for UPS Asia Pacific Region, and the Vice President of Finance, UPS Asia Pacific Region.
