Hellmann Worldwide Logistics (HWL) has unveiled its new contract logistics facility in Apex Park, Daventry, UK.
HWL chose to site its new facility in Daventry after regarding the town as a key location in the heart of the ‘UK logistics golden triangle’ – 10 miles from the M1, 15 miles from the M6 and close to the Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal (DIRFT). Operations commenced in May 2016, with a blend of new and existing customers in the retail and manufacturing sectors.
Councillor Colin Poole of Daventry District Council commented, “It’s great to see another international company choosing to base its operations in our district, which is fast building a reputation worldwide as a centre for logistics excellence.”
Andrew Sulston, UK Director of Hellmann Contract Logistics said, “The launch of our new Daventry facility is a very exciting development that forms an integral part of the future of our contract logistics business in the UK.”
