FM Logistic has announced a brand new platform in the region of Noguinsk, 40 km east of Moscow, Russia. Operations have begun with the objective being to support Henkel’s development in Eastern Europe. The platform, which will eventually measure 80,000 sq m, has been strategically built close to Henkel’s Beauty Care production site.
The first part of this class A platform (3 units) comprises offices and technical facilities. It has 26,000 sq m of storage space for around 45,000 pallets, including a special area for hazardous products (aerosols).
FM Logistic will provide Henkel’s beauty care factory, which was built in 2014, with warehousing and co-packing services for finished cosmetic products. It will also supply the factory’s production lines with raw materials and packaging.
The platform will open to other manufacturers during a second phase when temperature-controlled units will be available to the customers of FM Fresh, subsidiary of FM Logistic based in Russia since 2013.
