iForce sees double digit growth in orders fulfilled during 2016


iForce has reported on what it referred to as ‘its most successful year to date’ after it fulfilled what equates to 18.2% more orders (85.1m items) for its clients.

The company also reported double-digit growth in the number of orders fulfilled via iForce Gateway. The iForce Gateway is the company’s fulfilment and warehouse management solution designed to improve retailer’s operating efficiency. During 2016 these volumes were up 14% to 7.1m, including both e-commerce and non-e-commerce despatches.

Indeed, during the peak season alone (between November 21 and January 2) iForce handled 13.9m items, up 10.7% on the corresponding period for the previous year. During Black Friday alone, iForce’s teams picked 193,561 items and fulfilled 65,047 orders, representing 12.6% and 8.8% rises respectively on 2015 figures.

Throughout 2016, iForce won returns processing contracts with retailers such as Aldi, Houseology, and Maplin. It also renewed its existing contracts with John Lewis and Cath Kidston.
