DSV will provide Red Cross Denmark with free warehousing and logistics services in Roskilde, Denmark, and act as a strategic international partner for the charity.
DSV will manage the transportation and storage of around 60 tonnes of relief equipment in 2,000 sq m of warehouse space at DSV’s facility close to Roskilde in Denmark. This double the charity’s warehouse capacity.
In its capacity as strategic international partner, DSV will offer access to expertise and advice in connection with Red Cross projects locally and globally. Support will also include donations and logistics services.
The agreement does not specify any particular projects; however, focus will be on relief work and quick response to emergency situations. In DSV, the agreement has been implemented globally, encouraging all of DSV’s more than 80 countries to support local Red Cross projects.
