Germany’s Chemical Industry Association, the VCI, has extended its logistics partnership with Dachser for another two years.
Dachser and VCI have collaborated on European groupage shipments since 2009, with air and sea forwarding added in 2015.
VCI members, mostly medium-sized companies in the chemicals industry, benefit from standardised transportation and warehousing services for their goods consignments on pallets.
Dachser transports over 3.2m hazardous goods shipments each year; underpinned by a network of 23 specific locations across Europe in Germany, Denmark, Austria, Hungary and Romania. In terms of staff, a central dangerous goods team and 180 regional dangerous goods safety advisors, alongside a specialised industry team focused on the logistics needs of the chemical industry round off the company’s offering.
