Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) has been appointed by Myanmar National Airlines to handle its newly-launched services from Yangon, Maynmar to Hong Kong.
Myanmar National Airlines is the state-owned national flag carrier of Myanmar and flies to 26 domestic destinations and has already announced an investment in a new fleet of Boeing 737-800 Next-Generation aircrafts.
Myanmar National Airlines’ expected four times weekly B737-800 services to Hong Kong from 4 December 2015 represent the airline’s second international route.
Hactl Executive Director Vivien Lau, said, “It is my great pleasure to welcome Myanmar National Airlines to Hong Kong, and to the Hactl family of airlines.” Adding “This new service is part of the exciting developments in Myanmar as a whole. It’s a country with huge potential for international trade, and we are pleased and proud to play a part in the creation of its links with the world.”
