IAG Cargo has announced the launch of the company’s Cargo Connector delivery service in the US. Cargo Connector provides an import delivery service that takes freight direct from the aircraft and delivers it to the forwarders handling facilities. The new service is available in eight US airports: San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, Seattle and Houston for shipments under 300 kilos.

Our new delivery service builds on this success; making it easier for importers to get goods to market quickly and with minimal effort. The Cargo Connector import service is expected to be available Tuesday through to Saturday with a freight screening as required. IAG Cargo has been operating a small freight collection service through Cargo Connector since 2012 and the service is also available at IAG Cargo’s UK hub operation at London Heathrow and Frankfurt, Germany. Originally, Cargo Connector was offered as an export collection service.
