Qatar-based integrated logistics support provider Gulf Warehousing Company (GWC) has announced that it will become UPS’ authorized service contractor for express parcel services in Qatar. Under the agreement, GWC will provide UPS products and services across 220 countries and territories.
With the initiative, the company expects to improve its service portfolio including better pick-up and delivery times with the option of integrated solutions including multi-modal offerings, contract logistics and brokerage. There will also be focus on improving logistics that will provide customers with shipping tools, visibility tools and track and trace tools.
GWC chairman Sheikh Abdulla bin Fahad bin Jassem bin Jabor Al-Thani said, “This partnership will help local and international businesses within Qatar by offering both speed of transit and a high level of customer service. This partnership will boost both UPS and GWC equally in the state of Qatar.
