The oil market is complex and its behaviour nearly impossible to predict with any consistency. However, despite an understandable wish to factor it out of the logistics market, its present condition is simply too extreme to ignore. Not only has the oil market become very erratic in the short-term there is also a possibility that it could be undergoing a structural change. Both have implications for all sectors of logistics that are too significant to dismiss.
