For many years Wallenborn has been in partnership with Kuehne + Nagel and Panalpina, it has now extended these partnerships beyond Europe into the Middle East, where it opened its first office in 2013.
Imports and exports are both part of Wallenborn’s scope of work. Primarily pick-ups are made at the main airports in Dubai, DXB and DWC, and goods are delivered to the customers’ hub in DWC or to the final consignee in the greater Dubai area. Exports are usually transported from the various manufacturers to the airport where the customer will forward the cargo by air. Main export locations include Sharjah Airport, DBX and DWC.
Together with Kuehne + Nagel, Wallenborn also take care of local distribution with smaller trucks or vans, for example, this includes mall deliveries or express service.
