UPS, the official logistics partner of Expo 2020 Dubai, has announced the completion of a series of multi-modal deliveries for Expo 2020 Dubai’s entry portals in the run-up to next year’s official opening. UPS has organised multiple shipments from Germany through the Port of Antwerp, Belgium, into Dubai’s commercial port in Jebel Ali.

The 21×30 m, carbon-fibre structures were placed at the three main entrances to the site, just under a year before Expo 2020 opens on October 20, 2020. The entryways will transform the skyline of the Expo 2020 site and symbolise the futuristic spirit of the international exposition. The United Arab Emirates is home to the busy Dubai International Aiport, along with vast Jebel Ali Port. UPS has operated in the region since 1989 and has located its Indian Subcontinent, Middle East and Africa headquarters in Dubai.

To support Expo 2020, UPS draws on its experience as the logistics sponsor of the 2012 Olympic Games in London and the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
