SEKO appoints new CFO to drive global growth strategy

SEKO Logistics has appointed Matthew Brown as Chief Financial Officer to help deliver the next stage of its global growth strategy. Replacing Dan Sarna, Brown brings 25 years of experience in international business and financial management and will be based in SEKO’s headquarters in Chicago, Illinois. Prior to joining SEKO, Matt served as President and Chief Financial Officer of technology company SUZOHAPP and was formerly Chief Financial Officer of SAE Towers.

Brown’s appointment will help SEKO to drive the expansion of its global network including acquisitions, partnerships and new services. Brown will also play a key role in shaping SEKO’s corporate strategy to develop its transportation, logistics and fulfilment solutions. SEKO hopes Brown’s financial leadership will further the company’s inorganic growth, through acquisitions, with a focus of developing its 3PL and value-added warehousing solutions, technology, omni-channel logistics, white glove solutions and customer service.

James Gagne, President and CEO, commented on the appointment: “As we continue to grow all over the world and look at new investment and acquisition opportunities, he will provide the sound financial leadership and the experience we need to realize our goals as SEKO enters the next phase of our expansion beyond just organic growth.”
