Langarri Logística, a Rhenus Logistics company specialising in regional parcel and pallet transport, has inaugurated a new warehouse in the municipality of Elgóibar (Guipúzcoa). The facility features an area of 2,500 sq m, four docks and five gates for vans. The new warehouse replaces the logistics centre that the Basque company previously occupied in Mendaro, Guipúzcoa.
This is the latest in a series of investments carried out in recent years by Langarri Logística to adapt and expand its logistics facilities. The company currently has six warehouses located in Beasáin, Galdácono, Hernani, Orcoyen, Vitoria and Elgóibar. Altogether, these facilities have a logistics surface area of more than 7,000 sq m, covering Guipúzcoa, Álava, Vizcaya, Navarra, La Rioja, Miranda de Ebro and the southwest of France.
Rhenus Logistics has increased its position in the Basque Country thanks to the purchase of 100.0% of Langarri Logística in 2019. In this regard, the group continues to strengthen its assets in a market it considers strategic, and last April, announced the expansion of its Irún platform, accumulating an area of 12,000 sq m of cross-docking warehouse.
