The Air & Ocean division of Rhenus Italy has expanded in the form of a new team of experts dedicated to the management of oversize cargo transport by sea and by air. The new team has been in operation since September at the Segrate hub, Milan, providing solutions and consultancy to manufacturing companies requiring more complex and voluminous shipments.

The department is headed by Jacopo Signani. Operations management has been entrusted to Andrea Gabbi, while the role of Senior Coordinator is held by Elisa Brocchieri.

Rhenus claims the introduction of the project department is complementary to the company’s project aimed at commercial expansion in central and southern Italy, which recently saw the implementation of Air & Ocean services in the Modena and Florence hubs, important centres for national connections and the distribution of goods to and from the Adriatic and Tyrrhenian Sea areas.

“The opening of the new Project department in Italy aims to consolidate the development of Rhenus in our country” Air & Ocean Country Manager of Rhenus Italy, Emanuele Orso stated: “The Project service aims to increase traffic in the sectors relating to energy like oil, gas, wind and hydroelectricity, machinery and industrial projects.”
