Zalando has partnered with Fiege to operate the new 130,000 sq m fulfilment centre located in Nogarole Rocca near Verona in Italy. The new distribution centre will not only serve Italian customers but also those in other Southern European markets, in particular Southern France, Spain, Austria and Switzerland. Fiege will run the site for Zalando with a total workforce of up to 1,000 people in the mid-term.

The company has been building the centre since June 2018. Zalando now has 15 operational fulfilment centres in five countries, with three more currently in construction.
