Kuehne + Nagel to manage new Logistics Centre for CNH Industrial


CNH Industrial has awarded a two-year contract to Kuehne + Nagel to manage the company’s agricultural and commercial vehicle spare parts supply chain requirements in Shanghai, China.

According to the announcement, CNH Industrial selected Kuehne + Nagel after the company proposed an efficient logistics centre solution which will consolidate two of CNH Industrial’s separate business operations into one single distribution centre. Due to the complexity within the two operations, IT Systems are expected to be deployed to greatly enhance transparency and monitoring of the operational performance.

The announcement also noted that the 2,550 sq m non-bonded logistics centre in Fengxian, Shanghai, has been strategically positioned near transport links to support CNH Industrial’s domestic distribution requirements across China. In addition, Kuehne + Nagel is also expected to be responsible for CNH Industrial’s customs needs.
