De Rijke has announced the opening of a 10,000 sq m warehouse at its location in Kruisweg, Antwerp, Belgium.
Now spread over three warehouses, its total covered storage capacity amounts to 30,000 sq m. In addition, De Rijke has a silo park on site with 75 silos of different sizes available. The dangerous goods warehouses are equipped with pallet racks and an automatic fire detection/suppression system. The racks are also equipped with an in rack-extinguishing system.
Next to the new warehouse, a larger office has also been constructed. It accommodates the warehouse & transportation planning, the customer services department, as well as the centralised support services regarding the activities of De Rijke Group in Belgium.
De Rijke performs logistics services for both packaged and bulk products (such as powders or granules) at the site.
